Seneca Tae Kwon-Do & Martial Arts

Seneca Tae Kwon-Do & Martial Arts was founded at Seneca College in North York, Ontario, Canada. Since its inception, Seneca has run programs for Seneca College, the North York School Board and elite private schools which include: Town Centre Montessori Private Schools, Crestwood Private School, Queens Montessori School, Sidney Ledson Private School and Laurel Academy. Seneca was built on a rock-solid foundation of Tae Kwon-Do programs which range from elementary programs, through OAC, up to the varsity and adult level. In fact, the age of our students ranges from three years, to adults of over fifty years of age. Seneca Tae Kwon-Do & Martial Arts has helped hundreds of students climb as far towards the NINTH DEGREE LEVEL as they desired. We also have Chenjiagou Chen Style Taijiquan(Tia-Chi), Yoga, Pilates and Aerobics. All Seneca students benefit from the vast experience of all the superior martial artist who have come before them in the rich history of this professional organization.

Instructors
Our instructors are certified by the World Taekwondo Federation, the National Coaching Certification Program, and the Canadian Red Cross Society (c.p.r., first aid and emergency rescue). Full certification is awarded by the World Taekwondo Federation.
TAE KWON-DO MASTER INSTRUCTOR : Alan Bastien Alan Bastien is an EXPERIENCED PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER who has taught for SENECA COLLEGE and the NORTH YORK SCHOOL BOARD. He has also taught for 10 years at ELITE PRIVATE SCHOOLS such as, TOWN CENTRE MONTESSORI PRIVATE SCHOOLS and CRESTWOOD PRIVATE SCHOOL. Alan was trained by an 8TH DEGREE GRAND MASTER FOR THE PROFESSIONAL TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION OF KOREA With extensive training in sport Tae Kwon-Do, as well as traditional Tae Kwon-Do, ALAN BASTIEN IS A 6TH DEGREE MASTER, WHO IS CERTIFIED BY THE WORLD TAEKWONDO FEDERATION. Alan Bastien is also a Level 2 Coach in the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program. Furthermore, he is certified in C.P.R. and First Aid by The Canadian Red Cross Society, in addition to Aquatic Development & Emergency Training in accordance with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada's Emergency Cardiac Care Program. Alan Bastien is the original founding member of Seneca College Martial Arts and Seneca Tae Kwon-Do.
